About the HFOA

The Harvard Friends of the Arts (HFOA) is a sub-committee of the Friends of the Harvard Public Library and a 501c-3 non-profit volunteer organization. All performances are free and open to the public and held at Volunteers Hall. These programs are supported with memberships to the FOHPL, proceeds from our annual book sale, your donations, and by the Harvard Public Library Trust.

Founded in 2007, the mission of the Friends of the Arts is to encourage, stimulate and promote high quality, diverse professional and amateur creative talents that will enhance the quality of life of our community; and to create a central gathering place and community resource where people can experience, appreciate and support the transformative power of artistic expression.
