There are many ways to support the library; you may donate to the Harvard Public Library Trust, join the Friends of the Harvard Public Library, make purchases from the new HPL Store and donate to or purchase from the Annual Book Sale.

Harvard Public Library Trust

The Harvard Public Library Trust was established in 1998 to accept, hold, and manage donations and bequests to the Harvard Public Library in support of its long-term needs. Trust funds contributed to the construction of the new library building, which opened in 2007. Since then, donations to the Trust have supported library needs that public funding alone cannot meet, such as capital improvements, staff development, and special program opportunities.

Friends of Harvard Public Library

The Friends of the Harvard Public Library is a community-based, volunteer organization whose purpose is to stimulate the interests of the community in the services and needs of the Harvard Public Library. We provide program assistance through volunteer help and funds and sponsorship of programs that will enable the Harvard Public Library to keep pace with the growth of the Town of Harvard.
